Latest Competition News
It was a happy hunting ground for Tyndale archers on Sunday 10th August at Deer Park’s All Day Imperial shoot. 7 of us shot plus Malcom Judging and several supporting visitors through the day keeping us going. Tyndale turnout made us the third biggest club by participation, and all 7 of us came back with medals – 4 golds, 2 silvers and 1 bronze to be exact.
It was a hot, but still day, making it almost ideal conditions for archery, and a couple of us shot new PB’s while there, though the humidity did make us all very tired by the end after shooting the 150 arrows.
It was also Simon Wellicome’s first ever competition. Here’s to many more, Simon!
- Tyndale Archer shoots for County Team!
On Sunday 11th May the whole club was behind Gemma Higgins as she made her Gloucestershire County Team debut at an intercounty friendly competition. Gemma said it was ‘…some lessons learnt but a great experience all round. Oh and Gloucestershire won so that made it extra special‘.
